“I’ve known Leah since 2013, when I decided to join the CrossFit community in Puerto Rico. We became training partners in early 2014 until late 2015, when I decided to move to Virginia for work after my college graduation. Fast-forward three and a half years and I was a 25 year old who had gained 20 pounds, lost much of the self-confidence I had built up through my time in CrossFit, and was emotionally drained with a lot of the drastic changes that happened and were still happening in my personal life. I had to do something to gain that self-confidence back, to fall back in love with fitness, to improve my relationship with food, to feel comfortable when going out for food/drinks with friends, to continue living my life without that unnecessary added stress, and to let go of all the negative, obsessive thoughts that kept clouding my judgement and were impeding my progress. 

I decided to reach out to my dear friend, Leah, who immediately understood the frustration I was feeling: I knew exactly what I needed to do in order to get back to my desired physique and healthy mental place, but I had no one to keep me accountable for it and I also didn’t have someone to TALK to about it. I discussed with her my personal goals and she came up with a challenging yet fun and effective program to guide me in the correct path toward my goal. We’ve been working together for about 10 weeks and I’ve been tracking my food VERY LOOSELY (I’m weighing some of my meals and I constantly eat out, but I “guestimate” my macros when I do so). I slowly started to notice physical progress, especially after week 8. I started at 32” waist and 165 lbs. and today I am at 30.5” waist and 158 lbs. My goal waist measurement is 28”. I’m not setting an exact goal weight but I know I feel like myself whenever I’m around 145 lbs. I have no doubt I’ll be able to reach this goal if I continue to follow Leah’s guidance as I have done for the past couple of months. I’m really glad I picked her to help me improve that area of my life. Thank you :)”

“When I first signed up for Stronger Than your Boyfriend, it was because I wanted something different and to mix it up since training for a half marathon. This morning is my two week mark since I stated running and doing STYB workouts. I am just mindblown with he results. Not just getting strong, but seeing cuts in my physique. “I really loved the program, it was HARD. It made me question all the other programming I’ve been doing but it was exactly what I wanted in terms of mixing powerlifting and weightlifting. I PRd my bench, clean, and clean and jerk during the process, not that that was the goal, but it was definitely nice! I hadn’t been powerlifting seriously since my surgery in January and this was exactly what I needed to get back into it. “Honestly I liked it. I did it when I could like I probably made it like three times a week. But that’s also because my life is chaotic and I always didn’t have time. But overall I think it’s a really good program because you have a lot of stuff in there and accessory work which is great. So some days I would have to like pick and choose what I was going to do. But the price point is amazing because I don’t feel like I spent all this money and then I couldn’t do it every single day.”

“So a couple of things on how I approached STYB. The gym that I use is a boxing gym/weight room. So I had most of the equipment so I was able to adjust with no problem. But I didn’t have much in the way of support in order to lift super heavy. But again, I had a general idea in order to adjust fine!

I will say, I had the most fun in the first three weeks. I always left the gym feeling I worked super hard but could still get through the rest of my day! And there was variety so I didn’t get bored once.

I’m SO happy with my results. Like I LOVE my butt hahahah I can’t wait to use this in order to keep up my leg strength! I look and feel so strong and healthy ❤️”
